Exemption to certain final products of iron and steel Notification No. 218/88-C.E. Dated 21-6-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 202/88-Central Excises, dated the 20th May, 1988, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 04 and entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "05, Sheets, including tinned sheets. Painted, lacquered or varnished sheets falling under sub-heading Nos. 7210.30 or 7212 30."
