Amendment to Notification No. 84/87-C.E. [Rule 56A] Notification No. 209/88-C.E. Dated 1-6-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 56A of the Central Excises Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 84/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 11 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "12. Synthetic staple fibres and tow, including tops thereof. 55.01 55.01 13. Artificial staple fibres and tow. 55.02 55.02".
