Amendment to Notification No. 150/86-C.E. [ Ch. 76] Notification No. 203/88-C.E. Dated 20-5-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 150/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1966, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "4. Wire-rods, whether or not in coils, conforming to the specifications in IS 5484-1978 of the Indian Standards Institution. 18 per cent. ad valorem ."
