Amendment to Notifications No. 68/86-C.E. and 160/86-C.E. Notification No. 186/88-C.E. Dated 13-5-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE . No. Notification No. Amendments (1) (2) (3) 1. 68/86-Central Excises, dated the 10th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) after Sl. No. 10 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) '10A 85.24 Gramophone records commonly known as "L.P." or long playing records and "E.P." or extended playing records 15% ad valorem -' (ii) Sl. No. 12 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 160/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, Sl. No. 8 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
