Amendment to Notification No. 59/87-C.E. [ Ch. 54] Notification No. 159/88-C.E. Dated 2-5-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-rule (1) of Rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 59/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the said notifications, for the words "viscose filament yarn", wherever they occur, the words "viscose filament yarn and acetate filament yarn" shall be substituted.
