Amendment to Notification No. 218/84-C.E. [ Ch. 27] Notification No. 152/88-C.E. Dated 27-4-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-rule (1) of Rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 218/84-Central Excises, dated the 29th November, 1984, namely :- In the said notification, in the provisos, for the words "the raw naphtha", wherever they occur, the words "the said petroleum products, benzene or toluene, as the case may be," shall be substituted.
