Amendment to Notification No. 67/82 - [ Ch. 48] Notification No. 131/88-C.E. Dated 8-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 67/82-Central Excises, dated the 28th February, 1982, namely :- In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, for the words and figures "articles of paper or paperboard falling within Chapter 48", the words and figures "printed cartons, boxes, containers and cases (including flattened or folded boxes and flattened or folded cartons), whether in assembled or unassembled condition, falling within Chapter 48" shall be substituted.
