Effective duty on clocks and components thereof Notification No. 123/88-C.E. Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 72/86-Central Excises, dated the 10th February, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) after Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, following Sl. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) 3A 91.03 or 91.05 Goods other than those covered by Sl. No. 3 above. 5% ad valorem (ii) after Sl. No. 4 and entries relating thereto, following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) 5 85 or 91 Components of the clock covered by Sl. No. 3A above. 5% ad valorem
