Exemption to kajal, sindur, alta and mahavar Notification No. 48/88-C.E. Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 235/86-Central Excises, dated the 3rd April, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Sl. No. (2) and entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be substituted :- (1) (2) (3) 2. Kajal Nil 3. Sindur Nil 4. Alta and Mahavar Nil.
