Amendment to SSI scheme in respect of refrigerating and air-conditioning appliances and parts thereof Notification No. 44/88-C.E. Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 75/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, - In the opening paragraph, in clause (b), - (i) for the words "not exceeding rupees ten lakhs", the words "not exceeding rupees fifteen lakhs" shall be substituted; (ii) for the words "fifty per cent", the words "sixty per cent" shall be substituted.
