Amends Notification Nos. 214/86-C.E. and 217/86-C.E. Notification No. 204/87-C.E. Dated 9-9-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. No. Notification No. and date Amendment 1. 214/86-Central Excises, dated the 25th March, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notifi cation, in columns (2) and (3), for the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading Nos. 36.05 or 37.06)", the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading Nos. 36.05 or 37.06 or sub-heading Nos. 2201.11, 2201.12, 2201.19, 2202.11, 2202.12, 2202.13, 2202.14 or 2202.19)" shall be substituted. 2. 217/86-Central Excises, dated the 2nd April, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notifi cation, in columns (2) and (3), for the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading Nos. 36.05 or 37.06)", the brackets, words and figures "(other than those falling under Heading Nos. 36.05 or 37.06 or sub-heading Nos. 2201.11, 2201,12, 2201.19, 2202.11, 2202.12, 2202.13, 2202.14 or 2202.19)" shall be substituted. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 1987.
