Amends Notification No. 223/82-C.E. Notification No. 180/87-C.E. Dated 2-7-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 223/82-Central Excises, dated the 11th October, 1982, namely :- In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, for the words, brackets and figures "man-made fabrics, falling under sub-item (2) of the Item No. 22 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)", the words, figures and brackets "embroidered man-made fabrics, falling under sub-heading No. 5805.14 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)" shall be substituted.
