Amends Notification No. 193/86-C.E. Notification No. 162/87-C.E. Dated 8-6-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 193/86-Central Excises, dated the 11th March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification after the Table the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :- "2. The exemption contained in this notification shall not apply if in respect of such tea, falling under sub-heading No. 0902.19 of the said Schedule, the exemption contained in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 217/86-Central Excises, dated the 2nd April, 1986, has been availed of."
