Amends Notification No. 68/86-C.E. Notification No. 131/87-C.E. Dated 29-4-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 68/86-Central Excises, dated the 10th February, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) after S. No. 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "8A 85.21 Video cassette recorder. Rupees 2,000 per set. — 8B 85.21 Video cassette player. Rupees 1,500 per set."; — (ii) in S. No. 20, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Combination of broadcast television receiver sets (monochrome) and radios (including transistor sets)." shall be substituted. (iii) after S. No. 20 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "20A 85.28 Broadcast television receiver sets (other than monochrome sets) in combination with audio tape recorder or radio (including transistor sets) or clock. Rupees 2,000 per set. — "20B 85.28 Combination of broadcast television receiver sets (other than monochrome) with video cassette recorder or video cassette player. Rupees 3,750 per set.". —
