MODVAT - Extention to various new items Notification No. 81/87-C.E. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 214/86-Central Excises, dated the 25th March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, for the Table, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :- "TABLE S. Goods classifiable under any headings of Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 59, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95 or 96 (other than those falling under Heading Nos. 36.05 or 37.06) of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)."
