Exemption to texturised viscose filament yarn if made from duty pai yarn Notification No. 59/87-C.E. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts textured viscose filament yarn, falling under heading No. 54.05 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986), from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon which is specified in the said Schedule subject to the condition that the appropriate duty of excise leviable under the said Schedule or the additional duty leviable under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), as the case may be, has already been paid in respect of the viscose filament yarn, other than textured, falling under heading No. 54.04 of the said Schedule used in the manufacture of the said textured viscose filament yarn.
