NOTIFICATION NO. SO 98(E), DATED 15-2-1995, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF LAW, JUSTICE AND COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Section 4A(2) of the Companies Act, 1956 - Public financial institutions - Notified financial institutions S.O. 98(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following institution to be a financial institution and makes the following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) Number S.O.1329, dated the 8th May, 1978, namely: In the said notification, after entry (15), the following entry shall be inserted, namely: "(16) Industrial Finance Corporation of India Limited, formed and registered under the Companies Act, 1956(1 of 1956)."
