(N.T.) and 50/94-C.E. (N.T.) Notification No. 14/99-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 16-2-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hitherto annexed shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 41/94-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 22nd September, 1994 In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column (2), after item (d), the following shall be inserted, namely :- "(d) Processed textile fabrics falling under Heading Nos. 52.07, 52.08, 52.09, 54.06, 54.07, 55.11, 55.12, 55.13, 55.14 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) and on which duty of excise has been paid under Section 3A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)." 2. 50/94-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 22nd September, 1994 In the said notification, for the words "the Central Government hereby directs that the rebate of duty paid on any excisable goods other than non-alloy steel ingots and billets" the words, figures, brackets and letter "the Central Government hereby directs that the rebate of duty paid on any excisable goods other than processed textile fabrics falling under Heading Nos. 52.07, 52.08, 52.09, 54.06, 54.07, 55.11, 55.12, 55.13, 55.14 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) and on which duty of excise has been paid under Section 3A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), non-alloy steel ingots and billets" shall be substituted.
