Amends Notification No. 263/79-C.E. ( Exemption go goods sent abroad as exhibition in International Trade Fair or for Demonstration or carrying out tests or trials) [Notification No. 213/87-C.E., dated 14-9-1987 ] In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 263/79-Central Excises, dated the 22nd September, 1979 , namely :- In the said notification, after the word "Exhibition", the words "or sent abroad for the purposes of demonstration or for carrying out tests or for trials," shall be inserted.
