Amendments in Notification No. 58/2003-CE 59/2003-CE, Dt. 22/07/2003 NOTIFICATION NO. 77/2003-CE DATED 29/11/2003 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act,1944 (1of 1944), read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act 1957 (58 of 1957), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "1st day of December, 2003", the figures, letters and words "1st day of January, 2004 " shall be substituted. 2. 59/2003-CENTRAL EXCISE, dated the 22nd July, 2003 (G.S.R 576(E), dated the 22nd July, 2003). In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "1st day of December, 2003", the figures, letters and words "1st day of January, 2004 " shall be substituted. [F. The principal notification No. 58/2003-CENTRAL EXCISE, dated the 22nd July, 2003, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R 575 ( E), dated the 22nd July, 2003 and was last amended by notification No.73/2003-Central Excise, dated the 14th October, 2003 [G.S.R. 812 (E), dated the 14th October, 2003]. 2. The principal notification No. 59/2003-CENTRAL EXCISE, dated the 22nd July, 2003, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R 576 (E), dated the 22nd July, 2003 and was last amended by notification No. 73/2003-Central Excise, dated the 14th October, 2003 [G.S.R. 812 (E), dated the 14th October, 2003] (Please refer NTF.
