ITR pending for processing & incorrect response to confirm/revise claim of refund filed. - Income Tax

Kind Experts, In the instant case, this query emanates from the situation where I have filed verified an individual s ITR for AY 2022-23 on 30th July, 2022 with refund of 6 Lakhs. The status of ITR was changed to under processing on October 18, 2022. However, the issue arose when the taxpayer received a mail from CPC for advancement of response to confirm or revise the claim of refund which was automatic mail being received by taxpayers at that time under risk management process. The taxpayer had erred in filing selecting response of I will revise the claim of refund in lieu of The claims in ITR are correct such error came to knowledge when the time to revise the ITR for AY 2022-23 had already expired. Now the ITR has not been processed till date cannot file updated return as it is a case of refund. We have tried multiple grievances at ITD Cpgrams, however no satisfactory response received. Also on meeting the AO, the responsibility is levied upon the CPC no action is being taken.
