Attention of all Customs Brokers, Exporters, Importers, Members of the Trade and other stake holders is invited to Board s Circular No.09/2019-Customs dated 28.02.2019 issued vide File F.No.450/26/2019-Cus.IV on the above subject. 2. India is presently ranked 80 in the Trading Across Borders category of the World Bank s Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Index rankings 2019. Board s Circular No.09/2019-Customs dated 28.02.2019 inter alia states that the next target of Government is to be in the top 50 Of the Ease of Doing Business ranking in this category and the efforts in this direction are being spearheaded by the CBIC by the. introduction of next generation reform aptly named Turant Customs. This reform is a comprehensive package of various elements that would be implemented from time to time in the next few months.
