Attention of all exporters, Customs Brokers and the Members of the trade is invited to this office Public Notice No. 14/2017 dated 13.07.2017 vide which revised guidelines in respect of Export Procedure and sealing of containerized cargo were issued on the basis of CBEC Circular No. 26/2017-Customs dated 01.07.2017. 2. Instances have come to notice of this office that divergent practice is being followed by the exporters applying for Self Sealing Permission and also for submission of documents. Some exporters are furnishing a very few information and documents at the time of applying for Self sealing Permission, which causes unnecessary delay on the part of this office as they have again to be asked for furnishing of complete information or for submission of documents. 3. Thus, for facilitation of the trade, it has now been decided that all exporters wishing to get Self Sealing Permission shall apply in the form Annexed to this Public Notice as Annexure-A and also to submit relevant documents mentioned therein. 4. Further, attention of all the concerned is again invited to Para 9(iii) of the Public Notice No. 14/2017 dated 13.07.2017 under which exporters are required to intimate to the jurisdictional Superintendent of Customs each time self sealing is carried out at approved premises. Such intimation shall clearly mention the place and address of the approved premises, description of export goods and whether or not any incentive is being claimed. 5. Henceforth, all the exporters are requested to give intimation regarding export of goods/stuffing in the Annexure-B enclosed to this Public Notice at e-mail id [email protected] in excel format only. 6.
