Amends Notification No. 5/2007-Central Excise (NT), dated the 12th February, 2007 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART-II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 36 /2008- Central Excise (N.T) New Delhi, the 25th September 2008 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of section 35B of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 5/2007-Central Excise (N.T), was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number G.S.R.76(E), dated the 12 th February, 2007, namely:- In the said notification, for the Table, the following shall be substituted, namely:- Table Committees (1) Area of Jurisdiction (2) (1) Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, (Delhi Zone) (2) Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, (Chandigarh Zone) Commissioner (Central Excise and Service Tax), Large Taxpayer Unit, Delhi [F.No.390/Misc/168/08-JC] (Sachin Jain) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note :- The principal notification No. 5/2007-Central Excise (NT), dated the 12 th February, 2007 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) vide number G.S.R.76(E), dated the 12 th May, Febuary,2007. 2007and was subsequently amended by notification No 01/2008(N.T.) dated 15 th January,2008 vide number G.S.R. 31(E) dated 15 th January, 2008 and further amended by notification No 25/2008(N.T.) dated 27thMay, 2008 vide number G.S.R. 403(E) dated 27 th May, 2008
