Joint Chief Departmental Representative, Shri I.R. Soni, appointed as Central Excise Officer and invested with powers of Commissioner of Central Excise for investigation and adjudication of specified case Notification No. 67/2001-C.E.(N.T.) Dated 18-12-2001 In exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 read with sub-rule (3) of the Central Excise (No. 2) Rules, 2001 the Central Board of Excise and Customs appoints Shri I.R. Soni, Joint Chief Departmental Representative in the Office of the Chief Departmental Representative, New Delhi, as Central Excise Officer and invests him with the powers of the Commissioner of Central Excise, to be exercised throughout the territory of India, for the purpose of investigation and adjudication of the case against M/s. Chandra Industries, Jalandhar vide show notice C. No. P-13/36/81/9800, dated 5-10-81. [Notification No. 67/2001-C.E.(N.T.), dated 18-12-2001]
