Amendment in Notification No. 06/2002-CE, DT. 01/03/02 - Petrol/Diesel - Excise Duty Cut Notification No.31/2002-CE Dated 3/06/2002 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 6/2002-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2002 , namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, after S. No. 32A and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) "32B 27.10 Motor Spirit commonly known as Petrol - 14 - 32C 27.10 High speed diesel oil 14 - - ". 2. This notification shall come into effect on and from the 4th day of June, 2002. F.No.354/129/2001-TRU (pt.
