Pan Massala other than goods containing 10% betelnut - 50% abatement in MRP Notification No. 39/99-CE(NT) Dated 8th June, 1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.20/99-CE(N.T.), dated the 28th February, 1999, namely:- In said notification, in the Table, against serial No.11, for the entry in column (3), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "Pan masala, in retail packs containing ten grams or more per pack, other than the goods containing not more than 10% betel by weight and not containing tobacco in any proportion".
