Premium collected by health insurance companies

As per the information furnished by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), the health insurance premium collected by all general and health insurance companies in the past three years including the share of public sector and private sector insurance companies is as under:

Note: Figures in the bracket indicate the share in total health insurance premium.

This was stated by Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today.
