time period for submit of proof of export

  • Contents

Res. sir,

we are manufacturer of excisable (dutiable) goods also we are making export to various countires. i want to know that if we export in scheme of UT-1 then we have to submit proof of export at excise department within a 180 days from the date of export.

so my query is if we are not getting any of documents and sometime we are failed to submit documents within 180 days then is there any provision to take any extra time ?

regards,

Manan Pandya

Dear Manan, there is no such provision in C.E.Laws. However, you may seek specific permission from the Commissioner of Central Excise by stating the bona-fide reasons or reasons beyond your control.RegardsYAGAYand SUN(Managementand Indirect Tax Consultants)
