Govt Updates Export Norms for Di-Octyl Phthalate, Adjusts Import Quantities for Key Plasticizer Components

The GoI's DGFT issued Public Notice 7/2025-26 amending Standard Input Output Norms (SION) A-1303 for Di-Octyl Phthalate (DOP) export regulations. The amendment modifies the export product description by adding "(PVC Plasticizer)" and adjusts the import item quantity for 2-Ethylhexanol (Octanol) from 0.700 kg to 0.680 kg, while maintaining Phthalic Anhydride import quantity at 0.400 kg. The modifications take immediate effect, impacting technical specifications for DOP export-import procedures under the Foreign Trade Policy-2023.
