Customs BRC non receipt of foreign Exchange data transmitted from RBI EDPMS portal to ICES - Customs - PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 07/2019

No. II/20/154/2017-EPCG Dated 03.05.2019 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 07/2019 Sub: Customs BRC non receipt of foreign Exchange data transmitted from RBI EDPMS portal to ICES-Reg. Attention of the exporters is invited to this Office Public Notice No 09/2018 dated 05.04.2018 (copy enclosed). The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given time up to 30.09.2018 to Authorized Dealer (AD) Banks for uploading the BRC details in the EDPMS module for the Shipping bills for which LEO (Let Export Order) granted on or after 01.04.2014. The dead line extended from time to time was not extended thereafter . The verification of pendency details pertaining to INTUT-I and INTUT-6 in the RBI BRC module, for the period from 01.04.2014 to 31.07.2018, shows that it is around 6 . 71 lakhs. SI. However for the information of the trade the details of such Shipping Bills are uploaded in the website tuticorincustoms. org. in. The exporters are informed to take up the pendency with AD Banks and clear the same in the EDPMS module within one month from the date of issuance of this Public Notice. In the case of SBS, for which no foreign exchanges is realized, the exporters may pay the drawback with applicable interest and regularize the cases. 03. It is also for the information that if the pendency is not cleared within the stipulated time of one month, either by way of updation through AD Banks or regularization by remitting the DBK with interest, the foreign exchange relating to the concerned Shipping Bills will be treated as not realized. In such cases, an IEC alert will be made in the ICES. This process will be followed by issuance of SCN and initiating adjudication proceedings. 04 .
