Misc 02/2019-AM(CH-IV) Dated 05.09.2019 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 70/2019 Sub: Formation of MSME Facilitation Centre in Custom House, Chennai. Kind attention of the members of the trade (importer / exporters / customs brokers) and all persons concerned is invited to the above mentioned subject. 2. It is decided to extend special facilitation to MSME units for the issues related to Customs, GST, DGFT and other allied agencies. An MSME Facilitation Centre shall function for this purpose from ground floor of the Custom House, No.60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai-600001. 3. All the units in MSME sector may make use of MSME Facilitation Centre for resolving the issues related to IGST -refund, drawback of duties, ITC refund related to exports, licensing issues, delay.in obtaining Export Obligation Discharge Certificates (EODC) etc. 4. The MSME Facilitation Centre shall be headed by a nodal officer who shall be rank of DC/ AC of Customs assisted by one Superintendent, one Inspector and one DEO. 5. The authorities of central GST of Tamilnadu, state CST of Tamilnadu and additional DGFT, Chennai shall be requested to nominate nodal officers in their respective jurisdictions, to coordinate with the nodal officer of Customs MSME Centre to resolve the issues. of MSME units 6. FIEO and CII of Chennai shall be the nodal agencies to receive the representations from their MSME members and forward the same to the nodal officer of MSME at Customs. MSME members may also directly file their representations with the nodal officer of MSME, Custom House, Chennai. 7. A software for filing the applications for speedy resolution of matters either through nodal agencies of CII or FIEO or directly is under development and the same shall be launched by 15-Sep-2019. 8.
