Amendment in Notification No. FTX.56//2017/Pt-II/545 dated the 22nd day of May, 2020 - FTX.56/2017/Pt-III/531 - Assam SGST

GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM ORDERS BY THE GOVERNOR FINANCE (TAXATION) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION STATE TAX The 19th September, 2020 No.FTX.56/2017/Pt-III/531. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of rule 48 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules ), the Governor of Assam, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby pleased to make the following amendments in notification No. FTX.56//2017/Pt-II/545 dated the 22nd day of May, 2020 issued by the Finance (Taxation) Department, Government of Assam, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, No. 220 dated the 27th day of May, 2020, namely:- In the said notification, in the first paragraph, (i) before the words those referred to in sub-rules , the words a Special Economic Zone unit and shall be inserted; (ii) for the words one hundred crore rupees , the words five hundred crore rupees shall be substituted.
