Exemption from Registration - Amendment to Notification No. 13/92-C.E. (N.T.) Notification No. 1/93-C.E. (N. T.) Dated 31-3-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 174 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 13/92-Central Excises (N.T.), dated the 14th May, 1992, namely :- (i) in the second proviso to paragraph 1, for the words and brackets "rupees (twenty lakhs)", the words "rupees thirty lakhs" shall be substituted; (ii) in the Form, in paragraph 2, for the words "rupees twenty lakhs", the words "rupees thirty lakhs" shall be substituted. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1993.
