Magnesite - Amendment to Notification No. 474/86-Cus. Notification No. 168/87-Cus. Dated 15-4-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 474/86-Customs, dated the 28th November, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, after the words, figures and letters "bulk density not less than 3.20 gm/c.c." the words, figures and letters "or dead burnt magnesite having magnesium oxide not less than 92% and silica content not more than 3.5%" shall be inserted.
