Amendment to Notification No. 257/85 Notification No. 156/87-Cus. Dated 31-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 257/85-Customs, dated the 14th August, 1985, namely :- In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures and words "31st March, 1987, the figures and words "30 September, 1987" shall be substituted.
