Auxiliary duty - 149/87 - Customs -TariffExtract Auxiliary duty Notification No. 149/87-Cus. Dated 27-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-clause (4) of clause 95 of the Finance Bill, 1987 which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made in the said Finance Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931), the force of law, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 114/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification against Sl. No. 9, in column 3 after sub-item (xii) and the entry relating thereto the following sub-item and entires shall be inserted namely :- (1) "(xiii) Outboard motors imported by any State Fisheries Corporation for fitment to boats used for fishing operation falling under 84.07. (xiv) Goods other than ferrite permanent magnets and articles of ferrite for permanent magnets being blanks of such magnets falling under 8505.11. (xv) Electrical resistors designed for use in circuits of 400 Volts and above or of 20 Amperes and above or for use with motors of 1.5 KW and above falling under 85.33. (xvi) Fuses, automatic circuit breakers, relays, switches and other apparatus for protecting electrical circuits or for making connections to or in electri cal circuits of 400 Volts and above or of 20 Amperes and above or for use with motors of 1.5 KW and above falling under 85.36. (xvii) Goods for use in circuits of 400 Volts and above or of 20 Amperes or above or for use in 1.5 KW or above falling under 8537.10. (xviii) Carbon electrods for electrolysers and nipples thereof falling under 8545.19 or 8545.90. (xix) Insulators designed for use in electrical circuits of 400 Volts or above falling under 85.46".
