Rescinds the Notifications regarding ad valorem rate NOTIFICATION NO. 39/2000-CE DATED 12/05/2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely:- 1. 7/2000-CE, dated the 1st March, 2000 [G.S.R. 185 (E), dated the 1st March, 2000] 2. 10/2000-CE, dated the 1st March, 2000 [G.S.R. 188 (E), dated the 1st March, 2000]
