Excise on MRP basis revised for: * Ice cream and other edible ice. * Glues Adhesives. * Safty headgear Notification No. 46/99-CE(NT) Dated 30th June, 1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2), of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/99-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 28th February, 1999, namely:- In the said notification, in Table,- (i) against serial No.10, for the entry in column (4), the entry 45% shall be substituted; (ii) against serial No.22, for the entry in column (4), the entry 40% shall be substituted; and (iii) against serial No.26, for the entry in column (4), the entry 40% shall be substituted.
