CE 215/86 Amended - DG CE Intelligence to Replace DG Anti-Evasion NOTIFICATION NO. 54/2000-CE(N.T.) DATED 22/11/2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section 2 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs(CBEC) hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Central Board of Excise and Customs(CBEC) No.215/86-Central Excise, dated the 27th March, 1986, namely: - In the said notification, for the words and brackets "Directorate General of Anti-Evasion(Central Excise)", at the two places where they occur, the words "Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence" shall be substituted.
